With a consolidated career in Brazil and abroad as a musician, singer, and songwriter, Edinho Santa Cruz is known for being the author of several soap opera soundtracks of Rede Globo, as well as the first tribute to Freddie Mercury, “Song For Freddie”.

Currently, Edinho Santa Cruz is working on the promotion of the single “Give a Piece of Your Love”, and his latest DVD “Jogo do Silêncio”, recorded live with special guests and the Heliopolis Symphony Orchestra.
Na Estrada do Rock In Concert is an invitation to an exciting journey through the best of Rock and Roll.

Pink Floyd, Joe Cocker, Paul McCartney, Beatles, Doobie Brothers, Queen, Freddie Mercury, Dire Straits, Deep Purple, Creedence, James Brown, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Van Halen, Steppenwolff, Elvis Presley and Led Zeppelin are represented here in a very elaborate interpretation, with “Edinho Santa Cruz e Banda’s” high standard vocals and instrumental skills. On the band, Edinho Santa Cruz (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, lead singer and vocals), Cillinho Siqueira (keyboard, piano and vocals), Glenio Salerno (drums and vocals) and Sandro de Lunna (bass, acoustic guitar and vocals).

And on this road, apart from lots of Rock and Roll, of course, we have the special guest appearance of a Great Orchestra, conducted by the regent Paulo Serino da Cruz, the guitarist Márcio Sanches and the Salvador Arena Foundation Children’s Choir.

Featuring 29 songs and a medley, the DVD brings “Song For Freddie”, a tribute to Freddie Mercury by Edinho Santa Cruz and Louis Van Dijk, and the amazing interpretation of the classic “Concerto Pour Une Voix” (Concerto For One Voice) by Saint Preux.

A production by ESC Records, Ivan Moura (DVD director) and Edinho Santa Cruz as the general director, both the DVD and the album were recorded live on the 18th of October, 2007 at the Engenheiro Salvador Arena Theatre, in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil.
